Founded in 1973, OCA is a national, non-profit, non-partisan advocacy organization of concerned Asian Pacific Americans. Based in Washington, D.C., OCA is composed of over 100 chapters and affiliates countrywide. The New York Chapter of OCA was founded in 1976. OCA-NY APA Advocates’ primary objective is advancing social justice by promoting active participation of Asian Americans in civic engagement and advocacy to secure equal rights, opportunities, access, and treatment.
