Hamilton-Madison House is a non-profit settlement house that has been the place for care and connection for the diverse populations of the Lower East Side since 1898. Based in the Lower East Side but offering programming citywide, we provide expert support across health, education and community engagement, from early childhood through older adult services. We specialize in licensed, clinical mental health care, youth education and family support, and services for older adults and their caregivers. We offer a wide range of programming, expert staff with the linguistic and cultural diversity needed to support our community, and intergenerational connections to show our community what is possible from one another.
We welcome, support, nurture and empower, creating a thriving community, one personal interaction at a time.
