New Orleans, LA
- Founded
2021
Song CDC’s mission is rooted in the Vietnamese American experience of New Orleans East and pursues the full liberation of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) across all intersectional identities to improve the quality of life of residents in vulnerable communities in Southeast Louisiana. We are a community centered organization that aims to: build the capacity of members; build bridges to economic stability, well being, and wealth for BIPOC individuals, families, and communities; and build power in BIPOC communities by challenging and influencing financial sectors to operate more equitably. Together with community partners, our justice work encompasses health, climate, food, education, housing, workforce as well as the culture and arts.
