Founded in 2020, Asians in Animation is a community-powered 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the celebr-Asian and support of the Asian animation community.
Asians in Animation is committed to the Elevation and the Celebration of Asian stories, Asian-led work, and the many cultures and diversity that spans the entire continent of Asia. Our organization provides information, stories, resources, and perspectives, but most importantly, Asians in Animation champions the worldwide Asian animation community.
Our mission at AIA is to create space and support the global Asian animation community through their entire careers.
By creating more access to industry education, targeted talent development, and a streamlined communication channel between Asian animation communities all across the globe, we want to empower Asian creatives to advance in their careers, take pride in their heritage, and, be the ones who get to tell their communities’ stories on the animated screen.
